Our goal is to remain a small, family-owned shop focused on providing you with the personal attention you and your family deserve.

 

The Pool Shop was previously owned by Larry Good, who brought a wealth of experience to the company. In 1980, Larry started Pools of Fun. His daughter Kim worked alongside him to learn the pool business. In the late 80s, Larry sold Pools of Fun to concentrate on his custom home-building company, Larry Good Homes, which he sold to his son and a partner in 2007.

 

It didn't take long for Larry to realize that retirement wasn't for him YET. So, soon thereafter, Larry went back to the pool business and opened The Pool Shop, Inc. Larry, his daughter Kim, and their staff created a company ready to meet their customers' needs with experience, professionalism and their own personal touch.

 

In 2015, at the end of the pool season, Larry decided it was time to retire FOR GOOD. He sold The Pool Shop, Inc. to his daughter Kim and, in 2017, Kim's son Koleson joined the company to work alongside his mother.  Today, Kim continues to use her knowledge from her father to carry on in the business world - with some of her own personal touches.
